Check Conversion / Check Guarantee

1. The customer writes a personal check to purchase items.

2. Write the customer's phone number on the check and circle it.

3. Run the check through the check reader attached to credit card machine.

4. Key in the dollar amount of the sale.

5. Swipe the customer's driver's license (or manually key in the number.)

6. The terminal will dial out and come back with an approval or a decline.

7. If approved, the reader / imager will print approval and stamp the check.

8. Return the check to the customer. Sale is complete.

9. At close of business, transmit all transactions in a batch settlement with credit card data. Settlement is like Visa / Mastercard: 48 hours.
